June L. Cross

June Liebmann Cross, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. Born on October 14, 1931, in New York NY, she lived in New Milford and Bergenfield for most of her life.

Predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Melanie Liebmann, brother, Richard Liebmann, and nephew Karl Liebmann, she is survived by her children, her son - Valmer Oscar Cross of New Milford, and daughters - Joy Ann Sherman (Neil Chandler) of Pompano Beach, FL and Jane Beth Pulver and her fiancé, James Wagner, of New Milford, NJ, and her granddaughter, Maggie Pulver, fiancé Garrett Probst and great-grandson, Francis, of Wailuku, HI and her brother, Kurt Liebmann and his partner, Suzanne Murray and nephew Kurt Liebmann and his wife Ivy.

Maggie and Francis were the sparkle in her eyes and she was a most proud Grandma and Oma. She will be missed by her two cats Duke and Baxter every day as well. We will miss her sweet smile and big heart.

She graduated from the New Jersey School for the Deaf. She retired from Amol Precision, Inc., the family business for 45 + years. She was an avid bowler. She loved sports and enjoyed rooting for the Mets and the Giants. She loved her cats and was an animal lover. She was a member of the North Jersey Community Center for the Deaf, Inc.; and Bergen County Senior Center of Midland Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of June may be made to any animal rescue organization of your choice.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Rockland Cemetery, Rockland, NY.
