Kevin M. Clancy

Kevin M.Clancy of Bergenfield, 72 passed away on May 30, 2021. Kevin was retired from Bell Telephone Company where he was a lineman and union representative. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran, a member of the Bergenfield VFW Post #6467, where he served as past Commander. He also served as District 2 Commander from 2016 to 2017. Kevin served as a councilman, Mayor of Bergenfield, Head of Bergen County Veteran Services and Bergen County Election Commissioner. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Rabbitt. Devoted father of Brian, his wife Julia, stepfather to Eugene, his wife Laura, Lisa and her husband, Chris. Loving grandfather of Olivia, Hannah, Juliana, Ryan, Evan, Abigail and Aidan. Visiting will be Friday, June 4 at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield from 4 to 8pm with the funeral service immediately following at 8pm. Cremation will be private.
