It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lorraine Peine, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on May 10, 2026. Lorraine was the beloved wife of Julius Peine, her soulmate, best friend, and the love of her life. Their love was one built on deep devotion, loyalty, laughter, and unwavering support. After experiencing tremendous loss at a young age, Lorraine found in Julius the love, safety, and partnership she had always deserved. Together, they built a beautiful life and family, caring for and understanding each other in a way that only comes once in a lifetime. Through every joy and every hardship, they stood side by side, always protecting and loving one another. Their home reflected the love they shared—filled with warmth, family, food, laughter, and open doors. The bond they shared was truly special and deeply admired by everyone who knew them. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters, Erica and Jessica, and a cherished mother-in-law to Frank. Lorraine loved her girls fiercely and worked hard to create a home filled with love, comfort, and protection. Above all, she adored being a grandmother to her five beloved grandchildren: Sophia, Angelina, Jovani, Lorenzo, and Vincent, who brought endless joy, pride, laughter, and love to her life. She was a truly special grandmother whose love will remain in their hearts forever. Lorraine is also survived by her loving brothers, Robert Toledo and his wife Wendy, and Richard Toledo and his wife Donna; and her dear sisters- and brothers-in-law Lilian, Joanne, Paul, Tracey, Lisa, and Scott, along with many extended family members and dear friends who loved her deeply. Lorraine was a truly special mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, loved, and cared for. She will be remembered for her incredible cooking, her sense of humor, her jokes, infectious laughter, and the warmth and light she brought into every room she entered. To know Lorraine was to feel like family. Her friendships ran deep, and she was blessed with lifelong friends she cherished deeply as family. She surrounded herself with people she loved, and her home was always open—filled with food, laughter, conversation, and the warmth that made everyone feel welcome. The love, loyalty, and memories shared with those closest to her brought her tremendous joy throughout her life.
