Lucy M. Slaman on September 24, 2018. She grew up in Ridgefield Park and moved to Dumont in 1963. Before retiring she was an administrative assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Slaman. Loving mother of Kathryn Zitelli and her husband Bill, Raymond Slaman Jr. and his wife Abbie, David Slaman and his wife Joanne, and Veronica Lobmeyer and her husband Kurt. Dear sister of Elizabeth Sauter, Marcia Dailey, Wanda Finch, Edward Richards, and the late Joseph Richards. Cherished grandmother of Selwin, Chuck, Dixie, Stefanie, Emily, Jennette, Rebecca, and Kendrick and great grandmother to many great grandchildren. Visiting Friday 4-8pm at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, 120 Monroe Ave., Cresskill, Saturday for the funeral Mass at 10am. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps would be appreciated.
