Margaret Rose Sullivan Murray

Margaret “Peggy” Sullivan Murray passed away March 25th at the age of 75.

Born in NYC, Peggy was raised in Dumont and settled in Bergenfield where she raised her family and resided until her death.

Peggy started her career as a dental hygienist before taking a break to raise her 3 kids. She returned to the workforce at Oradell Animal Hospital and then left to run the family pub,Murray’s Sportsman’s Lounge for many years before returning to Oradell where she worked until retirement.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Sullivan, and her husband James Murray.

She is survived by her 3 children Shannon (Mark)Donegan, Connor (Rachel) Murray, Katelyn (John) Murray, Her longtime companion John Giordano, her sister in law Noreen Murray, and four cherished grandchildren Delaney, Grainne, Jackson and Miles. She is also survived by a generation of children who’s

parents met at Murray’s Sportsman’s Lounge as well as a whole host of friends and people who’s lives she touched.

Peggy enjoyed the New York Mets, reading, the beach, traveling, ShopRite, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
