Masao Niiya, age 58, passed away on January 30, 2024 after a long illness. He was born on February 27, 1965. Masao is survived by his wife Akiko Niiya (nee Ohata), his mother Fujino and his father Tadashi. Masao also leaves behind his sister Yoshiko and her husband Eric Zaretsky, and his nephews Zander and Cooper, and his niece Aria. Masao was a proud business owner of Jplinklimo, a limo company, and enjoyed watching classic movies and the New York Yankees. A memorial service may be planned at a later date—his ashes will travel back home to Japan.
