Matthew J. Notarangelo

Matthew J. Notarangelo 84 of Bergenfield, passed away in his sleep with his family by his side. He is survived by his 5 children : Michael, Matthew (Karen), Michele, Mark,and Maureen (Dominic). He is also survived by his former wife Barbara, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren . He was born in Englewood Hospital and lived in Bergenfield his entire life. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Glennon. He was a proud member of the Bergenfield Fire Dept and Ambulance Corps and Teaneck Fire Dept. He successfully owned and operated AA Plumbing and Heating Inc. for over 60 years. He loved family days at the beach , grandpadding with his grandchildren, roller blading, watching a good ballgame, and his convertibles. He also loved helping others and was always up for a good challenge. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, Tuesday, April 19 at 10:30 for the funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, at 11. Interment Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting Monday, April 18, 2-4 and 7-9pm.
