Miriam McCormick

We mourn the passing of Miriam McCormick longtime resident of Bergenfield NJ on December 30th, 2020. Miriam was an RN BSN for many years before retiring from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY. She was a supervisor of Gyn unit. She was a mentor, teacher, and truly loved by the nurses, doctors, and her patients. Spanish was her second language. She was an ESL volunteer tutor at the Bergenfield Library and an avid animal lover. Miriam was devoted to her faith and her parish St. Johns RC Church in Bergenfield. She leaves behind her cousins Jack Evan, Father Brian, Hugh McCormick and Kenny McCormick. Miriam was a dear and kind friend to all and will be greatly missed. Services were private. Any memorial donations to St. Jude’s, stjudes.org or Real Dog Rescue realdogrescue.org in her name would be appreciated.
