Modesta Montero of Bergenfield passed away on November 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John Montero. Loving mother of Jacqueline Cornella and her husband Ronald and John L Montero and his wife Carmel-Ann Mania. Cherished grandmother of Nicole Zimmerman and her husband Brian, Valerie Colangelo and her husband Lou, and Christopher Nicastro and his wife Lexie, and great grandmother of Matthew, Gwendolyn, Isabella, Gianna, Alexander, Asher, and John. Modesta was a registered nurse for French Hospital in NY. She was a long time parishioner of St Johns R.C. Church in Bergenfield. Visiting Thursday 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 North Washington Ave Bergenfield on Friday at 9:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at 10 AM.
