Nancy Martin

Nancy Martin, 90 of Paramus, formerly of Bergenfield died on 8/20/2018. Mrs. Martin born in 1928 in Bronx NY married Thomas Martin, WWII veteran and survivor of the Normandy Beach Invasion. After a long absence of children the family was complete with the adoption of their children Thomas and Nancy. Mrs. Martin held secretarial jobs and raised her two children. She was a social worker for 18 years for Bergen County. A woman of great faith her job vocation was to help others. She was a parishioner of St. Johns RC Church in Bergenfield. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas. She is survived by her loving children Thomas and Paula Martin of Orlando FL, Nancy Abate of Northvale NJ and five grandchildren. Her life will be celebrated on Thursday August 23, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will meet at the funeral home on Friday August 24th at 9 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
