Olga C. Papetti

Olga Papetti (nee Crescenzi), age 92, of Tenafly, New Jersey passed away peacefully on July 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving and devoted children. Born in New York City, on November 8, 1925. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Tony and son John. Devoted mother of Marie and husband John Egan, Anthony and wife Annette Papetti, Suzanne and husband Donny Benedetto and Gerard Papetti. Treasured Grandmother of Danielle Rowland, Robert Egan, Anthony, Christina, Nicole, Jason and Cara Papetti. Great Grandmother (affectionately called her by Gigi) of Noelle, Cassidy and Alexandra Rowland, Brynn, Mia and Kylea Papetti and Mikaela Smith. Olga is predeceased by her brothers Louis, Thomas, Anthony and Alfred and sisters Adelaide, Anita and Helen. Olga also leaves her sisters Mary, Nancy and a host of nieces and nephews. Olga loved to dance, was passionate about music, and the sound of the big bands. Her favorite was dancing the "Lindy" to Glen Millers "In the Mood". She was a top notch bookkeeper for 70 years, drove to work until she was 87, loved to cook for her family. She loved to travel and was known as "The Merchant of Venice".A wake will be held on Tuesday 5-8 PM and Wednesday 4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ. All will meet at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, 10 County Rd., Tenafly, NJ on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 9:45 AM for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.
