Peter J. Rogers

Peter J. Rogers , 66, of Oradell passed away on February 16, 2014. Born in Tinos, Greece, he was the proud owner and operator of Englewood Florist, Inc. since 1978 and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Devoted husband of the late Marianna Rogers. Beloved father of Joseph P. and his wife Heather Rogers, Virginia A. Rogers and Anthony P. and his wife Zoe Rouggeris. Loving grandfather of Peter R. and Joseph A. Rogers and Petros A. Rouggeris. Cherished son of the late Joseph and Irene Rogers. Dear brother of Mary Ameralis and her husband Marcos and the late Anthony Rogers. Loving uncle of Irene and her husband Panagiotis Mourkakos and their children Stacy, Eric and Marcos, the late Anthony Ameralis and his wife Amparo Ameralis and their children Mark, John and Anthony. Loving uncle to Virginia and Maria Ameralis. Also numerous nieces and nephews here and in Greece. All will meet at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Wednesday at 10:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Arrangements are by Riewerts Memorial Home in Bergenfield. No flowers please, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in Peter's name would be appreciated.
