Mary, Jeff & family, Kenny So sorry to read about Rich's passing. Lots of very fond memories of working with him in the Boy Scouts. He was truly a special person. He was a great example of a person that put service to others above self. A rare quality today. Not a complicated man, but rich in teaching others about values and doing things the right way. I am sure there are many young men that came through Troop 139, who are better people today because of the leadership and guidance Rich gave to them. He will be missed, and I am sure he has been welcomed home in the arms of the Lord. Bob Thiele

Just heard about Rich's passing, a good man and a good Scout. I am traveling and unfortunately won't be back in time for the service but my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Vogel Family. Dusty Scoutmaster, Troop 180 Bergenfield
