Robert (Bob) John Bothe, 70, of Mahwah passed away on March 21, 2017. Born in Englewood, NJ he was a Teacher at Roy W. Brown Middle School in Bergenfield for 43 years and was a mentor and friend to both students and colleagues. An avid reader that could be found most of the day at the Mahwah Library, he loved cooking, music, traveling and going to dinner with his family and friends. He was a member of the OMEGA Men's Club and always had an interesting fact to tell about music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Devoted husband and best friend of Annemarie (Freck) Nally. Beloved father of Robert Joseph Bothe and his wife Lori, Michael Otto Bothe and his wife Janice and step-father of John Edward Nally and his wife Lindsay. Cherished son of Mary Elizabeth and the late Otto Bothe. Loving grandfather of Jordan, Kate, Joseph, Kiersten and John. Dear brother of Janet Kissack and the late John Bothe. All are invited to St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 9:45 AM for his Funeral Mass at 10AM. A private family entombment will follow Mass at Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Washington Twp. Memorial donations may be made to Valley Hospice, 15 Essex Rd. Suite 301, Paramus, NJ 07652.
