With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Rofel Flores, a beloved son, cousin, nephew, brother, partner, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on April 28th, 2026 surrounded by love.
Rofel was born on June 9th, 1973, to Felicito and Rosario Flores.
From the very beginning, Rofel, better known as “Coya Rofel” and “Chino”, radiated kindness, strength, and an amazing witty and funny personality. He carried these qualities with him throughout his life, touching the hearts of everyone who knew him.
He spent his career dedicated to the photography and the car enthusiast community. His compassion knew absolutely no bounds, and his ability to make people laugh and feel loved was outstanding.
Outside of his career, Rofel loved to cook, listen to Independent Music Artists, collect cars and making everyone laugh and feel wanted no matter the situation. He filled every room with his presence.
Rofel, Coya Rofel, Chino’s life was a blessing and his memory a treasure no one will ever forget. He is loved beyond words and missed beyond measures.
There will be visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home on Wednesday May 6th, 2026 from 9-11:30am. Funeral Mass at St. John's The Evangelist Church in Bergenfield on Wednesday May 6th at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hackensack. There will be a repass at “Eat Well Modern Buffet” here in Bergenfield 505 S Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621.
