Rudolf Abel, 85, of Bergenfield passed away on December 4, 2019. Born in the Philippines he was a Mechanical Engineer for the School Construction Authority of New York. Devoted husband of Adoracion Abel. Beloved father of Mary Abel. Loving grandfather of Brian and his wife Bernadette. Dear brother of Consuelo, Zenaida, Nedy and Rene. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. All will meet at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10 AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
