Susan J. Leopold

Susan J. Leopold of Bergenfield passed away on February 28, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence. Loving mother of Carolyn Harvey and her husband Arthur, Marilyn Mitchell and her husband Kevin, Lawrence (Butch) Leopold and his wife Kimberly, and Tracey Frueh and her husband Christopher. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Jeanmarie, Megan, Jake, Joseph, and Andrew. She was predeceased by her parents Anton and Jean Soltis, and her brother Bobby Soltis. Susan was a lifetime resident of Bergenfield and over the years volunteered in many of its committees. She worked in Bergenfield’s school system until she retired in 2012. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill at 10 AM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
