Vernon R. Cox of Bergenfield died on October 21, 2019. Beloved son of the late Howard and Mary Cox. Dear brother of Howard. A 1971 graduate of Bergenfield High School Vernon would then graduate from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ in 1975. Vernon was a consumer affairs investigator for Bergen County. He was a longtime Councilman in Bergenfield and was also on the Bergenfield Board of Education. Visiting Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield Sunday 3-7 PM. Burial George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus
