Virginia B. Helferich

Virginia B. Helferich, 89, of Haworth passed away on September 7, 2015. A graduate of Bergenfield High School in 1943 she worked as an Office Assistant at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City until her decision to become a homemaker. She was a member of the Clinton Avenue Reformed Church in Bergenfield where she was a member of the Choir, the Esther Circle and taught Sunday School. Devoted wife of William L. Helferich. Beloved mother of Meryl Earl and husband Robert, the late Paul and his wife Dorothy, Rhonda Myers and her husband David and William S. Helferich. Dear sister of the late Jack Bush, Leonard J. Bush and Marjorie Engstrum. Loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 11. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service at Clinton Avenue Reformed Church in Bergenfield on Saturday at 11 AM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clinton Avenue Reformed Church.
