Walter Patrick Caufield Jr.

Walter P. Caufield Jr., devoted husband, loving father of three, grandfather of five and proud veteran, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 at the age of 80.

Born on December 28, 1945, Walter lived a life defined by his service, integrity and love for his family. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army where he exemplified courage, discipline and dedication- values that remained with him throughout his life.

A devoted husband to Kristine for 55 years, Walter was the foundation of his family. As a father, he led by example, teaching the importance of hard-work, honesty and compassion. As a grandfather he was a storyteller, mentor and constant source of pride and love.

Walter is survived by his beloved wife, Kris; his sister, Maureen; his children, Gregory, Brooke, Andrew and their spouses; as well as his grandchildren, Owen, Kayla, Cameron, A.J. and Chase.

Walter will be greatly missed and will forever remain in our hearts and prayers
